Jan. 2005

"Blythe in Love" Exhibition in Oita1/21/2005-2/28/2005In time for Valentine's Day, Blythe made her appearance at Oita PARCO Gallery. All things related to "LOVE" were selected from Blythe's history in Japan, including various sold-out dolls and Gina Garan's rare photographs, making it a very appropriate exhibition for the occasion.
"Art Attack! Blythe Re-Created in Osaka" Exhibition3/2/2005-3/8/2005Blythe 3rd Anniversary event "Art Attack!" traveled to Osaka. The exhibited dolls were originally created by various fashion designers and artists for the fashion event at Aoyama Spiral in June 2004. The dolls had also been exhibited at Kichijoji PARCO in summer 2004.

Mar. 2005

"Behind Blythe" in Nagoya3/24/2005-4/7/2005"Behind Blythe" exhibition travels to Nagoya, Japan. It is the first Blythe exhibition in Nagoya.

Apr. 2005

"Cassandra Black" Exhibition4/16/2005-5/10/2005"Gothic-Lolita" and "Punk" were the themes for the exhibition "Cassandra Black," held at Shinjuku MaruiOne. Ten leading Gothic-Lolita&Punk fashion brands participated on behalf of MaruiOne, each styling a special Blythe for the exhibition. Blythe's creative team Junie Moon also contributed a specially styled doll for the event.



"Behind Blythe" in Toronto4/30/2005-5/25/2005"Behind Blythe" exhibition travels to Magic Pony in Toronto, ON.





May. 2005

Blythe 4th Anniversary Event "Cinema Princess"May - September 2005Starting with PARCO Kichijoji (5/26-6/5), then on to the fashion show at Aoyama Spiral (5/28-6/5), and to Junie Moon/gallery LELE (5/31-7/3), and Odaiba VenusFort (7/16-8/7), Blythe's 4th Anniversary event "Cinema Princess" was a collective behemoth of an exhibition.The annual fashion show held at Aoyama Spiral boasted 130 dolls - the largest number of dolls yet - each styled and customized by esteemed designers and artists.From 9/6 to 9/20, 20 of the dolls were selected to travel to Oita PARCO to be exhibited.

"Princess Journey" Doll Tour Exhibition7/5/2005-7/24/2005Blythe fans came together to make a doll tour happen for CWC's very own Blythe, Juniper. Doll tours, in which dolls travel from host to host while keeping a travel journal, have been popular among doll fans in the U.S. In her own little doll tour, Juniper had a marvelous experience traveling all around Japan - she got to stay with special guest hosts too! Her travel journal was made public on a special site, and an exhibition was held at gallery LELE to commemorate her trip, documenting little paraphernalia, photos, and journal excerpts.

Comic-Con International in San Diego7/14/2005-7/17/2005Blythe appeared in the Hasbro booth at Comic International Convention ("Comic-con") in San Diego.
